Starting on September 06, 2022 - 10:00 EST, Eat Right Now offers two learning paths for existing and new users: Mindful Eating and Weight Loss.
What is Mindful Eating? The Mindful Eating path is a 4 weeks journey of lessons and exercises, sorted into 28 Modules. This path will help you identify stress and emotional eating patterns, reduce food cravings, and build sustainable eating habits. The Mindful Eating path will support you in developing a healthy relationship with food, but the content does not focus on specific weight loss strategies such as meal planning or tracking calories, weight, and physical activity. |

What is Weight Loss? |
The Weight Loss path includes all Mindful Eating content but also focuses on weight management, physical activity, strategic meal planning, calorie intake education, and physical activity recommendations. A journey of hundreds of lessons and exercises sorted into 155 modules. |
What is Theme Weeks? Theme Weeks take you on deep dives into topics such as curiosity, kindness, anxiety, procrastination, and much more. Each Theme Week has 7 modules (each module with one or more lessons). |

App availability
To follow the Weight Loss path, please update the app on your device to at least v6.2.1 on iOS, and v6.2.0 on Android.

Press the Update button if it's available, so the app can update to the newest version. If instead of Update you see the Open button, it means that the most recent version was already installed on your device and there are no further steps required.
If you prefer to follow the program in a browser (on a mobile or desktop device) there's no need to do any further steps - the newest version was already deployed and it's available to everyone.
Program progress
New ERN accounts (created after September 06, 2022 - 10:00 EST):
Choosing either the Mindful Eating or the Weight Loss path happens during the account creation process, right after the Account Setup page (asking for Name, Age, Gender, Weight, and Measuring Unit), at the end of a decision-making wizard. Based on the answers given in the wizard, the app will suggest either the Mindful Eating or the Weight Loss path.
If you chose the Mindful Eating path, then at the end of Module 28, you will be prompted to take a second decision-making wizard. Based on your answers, the app will suggest either continuing on the Weight Loss path or starting the Theme Weeks.
Existing ERN accounts (created before September 06, 2022 - 10:00 EST) - if you are in the Core Modules:
Because the first 4 weeks are the same for both Mindful Eating and Weight Loss paths, even if you are a Subscriber (iTunes, Google, or Stripe) or a Freemium user (i.e., non-subscriber - if you pressed the "Start 4 Module Free Trial" button after account creation), you will be automatically enrolled in the Mindful Eating path.
When finishing Module 28, a second decision-making wizard will help you choose either the Weight Loss path or continue with the Theme Weeks.
Existing ERN accounts (created before September 06, 2022 - 10:00 EST) - if you are currently following any of the Theme Weeks:
If you want to learn more about weight management, physical activity, strategic meal planning, and calorie intake, then the Weight Loss path might be suitable for you.
To start Weight Loss if you are in Theme Weeks:
- navigate to the Lessons tab
- tap on Week 4
- select Module 28 in the list and complete it again
- after completing Module 28, you will be asked to answer a few questions in a decision-making wizard, and based on your answers, the app will suggest continuing either with Theme Weeks or with the Weight Loss path.
Choosing Weight Loss will open a whole new world of additional 127 modules, already having the first 28 completed (as mentioned above, the first 4 modules are the same for both paths because Weight Loss includes all the Mindful Eating content).
Subtitles
For the Mindful Eating path, English and Spanish subtitles are available. Currently, there are no English nor Spanish subtitles for the Weight Loss path.
We're actively working on adding the missing English and Spanish subtitles for all the remaining modules by the end of this fall.
